Dear patients,
we have made the following changes to keep our community as safe as possible:
Clinic entry is by appointment only. Please call 604-929-6280 when you have arrived for your appointment and we will be happy to help you.
Surface disinfection will occur before and after each patient so there will be fewer patient’s booked per day.
Pre-screening will be done to ensure each patient is not COVID symptomatic or been in contact with someone who has been travelling or symptomatic.
All patients will need to wear a mask to the appointment.
Patients will wait in their car until they are contacted by our office “Greeter.”
Only one patient will enter the clinic at a time plus a caregiver or parent if necessary.
The doctors will start your exam by phone to limit the amount of in office talking.
Prior to entry into the clinic there will be another screening for COVID symptoms or exposure and hand sanitization.
You will notice many Plexiglass breath shields, no magazines (we’re sorry), and fewer chairs in the reception area.
All Clinic team members will be wearing more personal protective equipment.
Frame selections for new glasses will be handled by the trained Optical Dispenser only and then sanitized appropriately so no more browsing (we’re sorry about this too).
We will be trying to limit paper, including cash handling and the use of pens, so credit card payment over the phone is preferred.
